Talk About Daily Life—Or Whatever Gets You Through to the Next Morning
This about sums up my day at work. 11-hour shift, 7:00am-6:00pm. Soaking wet, exhausted, our "helpers" and higher-ups standing around watching us work, etc. P.S. The burger patty is still there if anyone wants it. Soggy, but still edible with enough love. [image]
So at my current job (while I'm waiting to be accepted into the Canadian Armed Forces), I'm basically a jack-of-all-trades that deals with hardware and lawn equipment. I work the front counter, go out with the back shop to set up tent rentals for weddings, inform customers about (and build) chainsaws and strong-trimmers, snowblowers, etc. However, the one task I hate more than anything else on the planet is being a "parts-person." AKA, someone who takes calls and inquiries for parts, whether that be carburetors, air filters, blades, etc. Am I qualified to be a parts person? Nope. Do I have any formal training? Also, nope.
